Our Value Proposition
Cloud is deceptively simple to get started with — the major platforms make it easy to launch workloads quickly. But the right services must be selected from a large set of options, and choosing poorly compounds costs over time.
Without disciplined FinOps management, cloud spending can escalate rapidly and unpredictably. And when connecting services across boundaries, security is easily overlooked — often until it becomes a serious problem.
With IS Nordic Cloud Services you gain advantage in business and technology:
Business advantage
- →We do the work — your team is free to focus on product
- →Stability and uptime you can rely on, with proactive monitoring
- →Full visibility into your cloud environment at all times
- →FinOps: tracked and managed cloud spending — no surprise invoices
Technical advantage
- →Selection of the correct cloud services for your workload
- →Multi-region architectures for resilience and compliance
- →Elasticity — scale up and down automatically with demand
- →Security hardening, identity management, and access control
- →Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — reproducible, auditable deployments
Public or Private?
The choice between public cloud, private infrastructure, or a combination of both has significant implications for cost, compliance, and operational control. This decision deserves careful architectural thinking — not a default.
IS Nordic operates in both worlds. We architect and operate private cloud environments in our Danish datacenters, and we work with public hyperscalers — Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — where that is the right fit. Many of our clients use both.
Keep Your Data in Denmark
Geopolitical uncertainty has made data jurisdiction a board-level concern across Denmark and the EU. IS Nordic provides cloud infrastructure hosted entirely within Danish datacenters — full EU jurisdiction, complete GDPR alignment, and zero exposure to foreign surveillance law.
Under the US CLOUD Act, American authorities can compel US-headquartered cloud providers to hand over data stored anywhere in the world — without requiring a European court order. GDPR alone does not protect you if your cloud provider is incorporated in the United States.
Many organizations that migrated to hyperscale public clouds now face difficult trade-offs: foreign surveillance exposure, unpredictable egress costs, and increasing regulatory pressure under NIS2 and DORA. Repatriation to Danish infrastructure is the answer — and IS Nordic is the partner to make it happen.
Legal Jurisdiction
Your data stays in Denmark under Danish and EU law. No US CLOUD Act exposure. No FISA 702 reach. Full GDPR coverage by design — not by workaround.
NIS2 and DORA Readiness
Critical infrastructure operators and financial sector organizations face new obligations under NIS2 and DORA. Danish-hosted infrastructure with a certified provider substantially reduces your compliance surface and audit burden.
Cost Predictability
No hyperscaler egress fees. No surprise invoices at scale. IS Nordic offers contractual flat-rate pricing — you know your infrastructure cost at the start of the year, not at the end of the month.
Structured Migration Approach
Migrating workloads from a hyperscaler requires careful workload analysis, risk planning, and a structured transition. Our certified engineers have the depth to validate compatibility, manage technical risk, and keep services running throughout — without disruption to your business.
We are certified
Our engineers invest continuously in maintaining and expanding their certifications. When the platforms evolve, so do our capabilities.
Let's design your cloud architecture
Whether you are moving workloads to the cloud, repatriating from a hyperscaler, or building a hybrid architecture, IS Nordic brings certified expertise and Danish infrastructure to do it right.
